As an Executive - Logistics at Evonik India in Thane, your role involves coordinating custom clearance, documentation, and transportation to support logistics functions. Your key responsibilities include:
Coordinating with Clearing House Agents (CHAs) to initiate custom clearance activities and handle documentation. - Checking and approving drafts of "bill of entry" before filing in customs. - Coordinating with the Logistics team for payment of duty through ECL a/c. - Providing 1st approval of invoices in IVT for Transportation Costs. - Coordinating with transporters & warehouses to ensure timely unloading of material and return of empty containers to the shipping company. - Assisting in troubleshooting transportation-related issues. - Coordinating with CHA for daily MIS statements on activity status. - Maintaining monthly reports & MIS for tracking activities and providing data to the team when required. - Performing additional duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications Required:
Candidates with any graduate degree, along with a diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, will be preferred. - A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in logistics or shipping line is required.
