RESPONSIBILITIES This position is responsible for implementing MRI's ProLease Enterprise (Horizon) property management solutions and for providing property and lease management consulting services for existing and new clients throughout North America. For someone with at least 3 - 5 years business experience, this role will allow for the successful applicant to eventually develop their career into a subject matter expert on client facing projects, being central to leading discussions and implementations. This role allows a degree of responsibility, and the successful applicant will be able to run projects from start to finish. Additionally, this position will train clients on the use of ProLease Enterprise (Horizon) with special attention on guiding clients to apply best practice. The successful candidate must be capable of leading and participating in working sessions with client's personnel to facilitate technology-based solutions to business problems. This person must be a team player as there are many key stakeholders across the business that work together towards successful implementations. Please note, this position is required to work in accordance with U.S. hours (EST) 8:30am-5:00pm (EST) as well as U.S. Public Holidays. Key areas of responsibility are: Familiar with real estate management business processes in either the investor or occupier space (or both). Work with clients to gather their requirements and implement the ProLease Enterprise (Horizon) software. Conduct gap analysis, document client requirements, and translate into ProLease Enterprise (Horizon) solution design. Advise clients on industry best practices regarding property and lease management. Create business documentation including training material. Assist clients in software configuration, testing, training, and deployment. Oversee data migration activities, including data mapping, normalization, transformation, and reconciliation across lease, location, asset, and financial datasets. Map client lease administration and real estate processes into system workflows that support compliance with ASC 842, IFRS 16, and GASB 87, including right‑of‑use asset and lease liability calculations. Build and refine reporting outputs such as amortization schedules, journal entry support, disclosure reports, and audit‑ready documentation. Support in the management of the client and project timelines, risks, and actively resolve project related issues as they arise. Perform advanced data analysis using Excel, including nested formulas, pivot tables, lookup logic, data modeling, and quality‑control checks to validate financial and operational data. Plan, develop and deliver client workshops and training sessions to support user adoption, process alignment, and long‑term operational readiness. Follow software implementation strategies and coordinate associated tasks and resources required to successfully implement ProLease Enterprise (Horizon) services. Troubleshoot complex system issues, collaborate with technical teams on integrations (e.g., ERP, AP, GL), and recommend scalable solutions tailored to occupier environments. Work with a varied number of clients in different specialized sectors. Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal best practices, templates, and knowledge resources. REQUIREMENTS: Degree in IT, Business, Finance, Maths, or Accounting is preferred. 3-5 years' experience as a software consultant with knowledge of property and lease management principles; software implementation would be advantageous. Proven ability to lead client engagements, manage multiple concurrent projects, and deliver high‑quality outcomes. Implementation or use of property management software is a requirement. Use of ProLease Enterprise (Horizon) would be advantageous, though not essential. Strong technical understanding of lease accounting requirements under ASC 842, IFRS 16, and GASB 87, including practical application for corporate real estate portfolios. Advanced Excel proficiency, including data modeling, complex formulas, pivot tables, and data validation techniques. Effective communication skills. Ability to reason logically and provide innovative solutions. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good problem-solving skills and tenacity to resolve them. Good understanding of software implementation methodology. Confident with training or training delivery. Other Skills/Experience: High initiative, self-motivation, and enthusiasm. Strong professionalism and customer satisfaction orientation. Being able to demonstrate team working abilities is a must.
