As a Strategic Program Manager within the Firmwide CDO, you will be responsible for leading strategic change initiatives in partnership with Product, Technology, Lines of Businesses, and Corporate Functions. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Gathering, synthesizing, and prioritizing requirements from Lines of Businesses, Corporate Functions, and firmwide stakeholders
Partnering with Product and Technology to design solutions, define the product roadmap, and deliverables
Supporting the development of business cases for strategic programs to acquire the necessary funding to deliver the roadmap
Providing governance and oversight of the strategic program, ensuring stakeholder engagement and alignment, and delivering status updates
Identifying potential roadblocks/emerging risks and escalating as needed
Establishing and driving PMO capabilities for large programs, ensuring effective governance, reporting, and stakeholder management
Developing and implementing standardized project management processes, tools, and templates to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects
Developing and maintaining comprehensive program reporting and metrics, and communicating progress and performance to senior executives
Coaching other team members and contributing to the wider groups objectives
Qualifications and skills required for this role include:
5+ years of industry experience
Proven experience leading programs that drive strategic or transformational change in large, complex organizations
Expertise in program governance, project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall), and enterprise tooling for planning, execution, and tracking
Strong communication skills, interpersonal and influencing skills, with a proven ability to drive alignment across multiple stakeholders
Ability to manage tight timelines and multiple deliverables under pressure
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and other project management tools
Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred qualifications and skills for this role include experience working in a data & analytics focused organization, familiarity with data lineage, classification, and lifecycle management concepts, solid technical understanding of data management, governance, big data platforms, and data architecture, as well as familiarity with program management and collaboration tools (e.g. Monday.com).
