As a Japanese speaking HR professional with experience in Japan and other Asian countries, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Regional Associate Director and Senior Director of People Operations at PrimeVigilance. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the implementation of the People Operations strategy aligned with the company's objectives and organization strategy. - Managing people processes for the full employee lifecycle (including payroll) for designated countries, ensuring accurate reflection of changes in the HR system and internal tools in a timely manner. - Reviewing escalations from Regional People Generalist regarding exit interview data, providing support as needed, and assisting with onboarding when required. - Ensuring data accuracy in the HR system, providing HR metrics, and supporting HR stakeholders with end-of-year cyclical activities such as Merit and Bonus reviews. - Developing, implementing, reinforcing, and modifying HR policies, programs, and procedures, auditing them against relevant legislation and best practices, and recommending improvements. - Supervising other staff, including coaching and training, performance appraisals, and handling escalations and KPIs where applicable. - Acting as a point of contact for initial disciplinary and grievance concerns, general employee relations queries, and supporting HR management with complex cases. - Collaborating with the wider HR teams and HR COEs to implement HR strategic agenda, operational plans, and initiatives that enhance employee engagement, high performance, wellbeing, and diversity. Qualifications:
Proven experience in HR in an advisory role, People Advisor, HR generalist, or HR specialist, with solid HR Advisory support experience including HR administration, process, and policy management. - HR industry experience is required, ideally with a CIPD qualification or equivalent at Level 5 or above. - Strong English and Japanese communication skills (N1 preferred, N2 minimum).
