As a Jira Administrator at Algoworks, you will play a crucial role in administering, configuring, customizing, and optimizing Atlassian tools to support business processes, agile teams, service operations, and cross-functional collaboration. Your responsibilities will include:
Administering Jira and Tempo to ensure accurate time tracking, timesheet compliance, and alignment with billing and revenue recognition processes. - Configuring and maintaining Jira Service Management and Confluence Cloud environments. - Designing and enforcing Jira governance standards across all delivery teams for consistency and best practices. - Creating and managing projects, workflows, issue types, schemes, permission schemes, automation rules, and custom fields. - Collaborating with multiple teams like delivery, HR, finance, and senior executives. - Integrating enterprise applications such as Jira, Salesforce, NetSuite, Keka, and related systems. - Building and managing Jira Service Management portals, request types, forms, SLAs, queues, and automation. - Developing and maintaining executive-level dashboards and reports for informed leadership decision-making. - Managing Atlassian user access, groups, roles, and integrations with identity providers. - Installing, evaluating, and administering Atlassian Marketplace apps. - Providing user support, troubleshooting, documentation, and regular training sessions. - Driving continuous improvements in the Atlassian ecosystem through collaboration with cross-functional teams. Qualifications Required:
4+ years of hands-on experience as a Jira Administrator (Cloud preferred). - Strong understanding of agile and ITSM processes. - Expertise in Jira project configuration and workflows. - Experience with Jira Service Management portals, queues, SLAs, and automation. - Good knowledge of Atlassian Automation and Confluence administration. - Understanding of user management, Atlassian Access, SSO, and security best practices. - Ability to troubleshoot complex Jira issues and collaborate effectively with stakeholders. Preferred (Good to Have):
Experience with marketplace apps like Tempo, EazyBI, ScriptRunner. - Exposure to REST APIs for integrations or automation. - Experience with Jira Server/Data Center versions. - Hands-on experience with Jira on-prem to Cloud migration projects. - Atlassian Certifications (ACP-120, ACP-620, ACP-520) are a strong plus.
