As a Project Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a crucial role in leading cross-functional project teams and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Your responsibilities will include serving as the primary contact between the sponsor and the organization, managing project delivery in terms of quality, time, and cost, and establishing clear communication pathways for internal and external escalation. Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary liaison between the sponsor and the organization at the project level. Ensure adherence to escalation pathways both internally and externally. Define clear responsibilities and communication pathways for secondary project leads when necessary. Take accountability for the overall delivery of cross-functional projects, including time, cost, and quality aspects. Demonstrate financial stewardship by managing resources, budgets, and Out of Scope activities effectively. Communicate and manage customer expectations to ensure optimal project delivery. Identify and resolve risks and issues at the project level. Ensure project team compliance with organizational policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with relevant academic qualifications. Minimum of 8 years of experience in a comparable role. In addition to these responsibilities and qualifications, the ideal candidate for this role should possess: Technical proficiency in systems and applications like Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong delegation and prioritization skills in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Proactive and adaptable nature with advanced therapeutic area knowledge. Solid understanding of project management principles and financial acumen. Interpersonal skills to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.
