We are looking for a Channel Sales Engineer to serve as a technical resource for Cato Networks’ Channel organization, acting as an overlay specialist focused on AI Security. In this role, you will manage the technical evaluation process with channel partners, working with the Cato Channel team as the primary technical contact and product advocate for Cato’s AI Security solutions. The evaluation process includes technical discussions, product demonstrations, Proof of Concept execution, and partner education. You will engage with technical and business stakeholders and play a key role across the partner lifecycle. ###
4+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or technical pre-sales professional. - Experience selling or assisting with Cybersecurity SaaS solutions, preferably in enterprise or partner-based environments. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - Technical background with experience in several of the following areas:
SaaS platforms and APIs
AI / Machine Learning concepts and risks
REST APIs and integrations
SSO, IAM, and identity-based security
SIEM and security insights
Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Kubernetes and modern cloud architectures
Presentation and written communication skills. - Organized, thoughtful, and adaptable problem-solver. - Startup experience preferred; comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with limited formal processes. A reasonable estimate of the OTE for this role, at the time of posting, is $240,000–$260,000. Cato provides the pay range for open roles to help align with candidate needs.
