As a highly skilled and experienced Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing complex maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) activities on a fleet of modern aircraft. Your role will involve troubleshooting intricate mechanical and electrical systems, diagnosing faults, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, airworthiness, and operational efficiency are maintained. Additionally, you will lead a team of aircraft maintenance technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise. Your meticulous approach to documentation will be crucial in accurately recording and reporting all maintenance activities. You will also play a key role in planning and scheduling maintenance checks, managing spare parts inventory, and coordinating with various departments to minimize downtime. Key Responsibilities:
Perform and supervise scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance. - Diagnose and repair complex aircraft systems, including avionics, engines, and structures. - Ensure compliance with all aviation regulations, safety standards, and company procedures. - Lead and mentor aircraft maintenance technicians, fostering a high-performance team culture. - Manage aircraft maintenance records and documentation accurately. - Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to optimize aircraft availability. - Manage spare parts inventory and ensure efficient procurement. - Conduct quality inspections and ensure all work meets required standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures. - Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Required Qualifications:
AME or equivalent degree/diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. - Valid DGCA or equivalent Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) License with endorsements on relevant aircraft types. - Minimum of 7 years of experience in aircraft line and base maintenance. - Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex aircraft systems. - In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations and safety standards (DGCA, EASA, FAA). - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical documentation. - Strong commitment to safety and quality assurance. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work flexible hours and shifts as required.
