As an IT Application Management Professional at Siemens Healthineers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our application platforms. Your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring a thorough understanding of the application by conducting knowledge transfers with service providers, application managers, and owners. - Supporting in completing the technical sections of the operation manual and coordinating with various teams to finalize the rest of the manual. - Providing regular status reports on the progress of each operation manual and escalating to the relevant teams when support is required. - Acting as the main contact person for business process owners, addressing technical and service-related queries. - Serving as the interface between business stakeholders and IT groups, ensuring that analytical demands are met through IT services. - Taking technical responsibility for the operation of IT services, including continuous monitoring of cloud services, security services, vulnerability management, and software management. - Ensuring compliance with internal and external policies related to IT, quality, information security, legal, and data privacy regulations. - Supporting the business in meeting IT, Infosec, and data privacy compliances, as well as managing security incidents. - Driving business continuity planning, DR testing, data backup, and restoration testing. - Managing the technical implementation of IT service adjustments based on customer requirements. - Overseeing ITSM processes such as Change, Problem, and Incident Management Process within the assigned budget. - Creating and tracking roadmaps, release management, and test management for services. - Coordinating go-live activities with stakeholders and managing vendors involved in service provisioning. - Ensuring customer satisfaction through service level management and monitoring service quality. - Integrating IT solutions within the company's ecosystem and coordinating the implementation of requirements. In terms of qualifications, you should hold an engineering or equivalent degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field. Additionally, you should have at least 3 years of experience working in IT, particularly in Application Life Cycle Management (ALM). Preferred technical skills and process knowledge include:
Good understanding of IT applications, especially LMS applications. - Proficiency in MS Office and data visualization. - Familiarity with ITIL, IT Service Management (ITSM), project management, Agile/Scrum/DevOps methodologies. - Knowledge of IT system architecture, software development, systems integration, compliance, and cybersecurity. - Understanding of various information technology areas such as cloud technologies (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS). - Certifications in ITIL, ScrumMaster, or CISSP are advantageous. Non-technical skills that are essential for this role include:
Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills. - Customer orientation and focus on quality. - Ability to work effectively in a team and with partners globally. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Fluency in English (verbal and written) and flexibility to work in shifts. - Proficiency in Japanese language will be an added advantage.
