As an experienced professional in managing teams and IT application products, your role will involve planning and devising IT application strategies aligned with the company's business strategies and guidelines. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining IT applications, monitoring their usage, and continuously improving them to meet business requirements and derive benefits. Your key responsibilities will include:
Providing leadership, vision, and direction to the applications organization to contribute to the company's goals. - Developing an overall application strategy in alignment with business strategies and initiatives. - Building productive relationships with business leaders to enable new sources of value through applications. - Driving the ERP Transformation program for the company. - Defining and enhancing methodologies for application life cycle management. - Identifying and implementing new technologies for business benefits. - Leading a team of application developers and guiding them in skills development. - Managing application product roadmaps, status reporting, metrics, and benchmarks. - Prioritizing Change/Enhancement Requests based on inputs from the Business and IT Infrastructure teams. - Ensuring application security and risk mitigation in collaboration with the Information Security Team. - Growing competencies in Lean IT, agile development, DevOps, Low Code & Design Thinking principles within the team. Qualifications:
20+ years of experience in managing application products development or management. - Experience in ERP transformation programs. - Strong domain experience, particularly in the manufacturing sector. - Exposure to SAP ERP. Required Skills:
Strong communication skills to effectively engage with technical staff, business stakeholders, and senior management. - Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical individuals. - Proficiency in collaboration, relationship building, and influencing in a matrix management environment. - Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - In-depth knowledge of financial accounting, IT contracts, process formulation, and Lean IT principles. Preferred Skills:
Graduate or Postgraduate degree in finance, Marketing, Material Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
