As a Senior Content Strategist at a leading manufacturer of backhoe loaders and construction equipment, you will play a crucial role in shaping the content strategy and narrative for the brand's digital marketing and brand transformation journey. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing content strategy across the full marketing funnel, encompassing brand stories, thought leadership, case studies, product comparisons, ROI calculators, customer success stories, and dealer enablement
Providing editorial direction for various digital channels such as the website, blog, YouTube, LinkedIn, industry publications, and email
Creating sales and dealer enablement content including pitch decks, brochures, technical literature, demo scripts, and dealer playbooks
Crafting campaign content for product launches, trade shows like Excon and Bauma Conexpo, regional activations, and tender responses
Curating customer storytelling through compelling case studies and videos featuring fleet owners, contractors, and infra projects
Managing content operations including calendar planning, briefs, workflows, agency coordination, and ensuring timely creative delivery
Collaborating cross-functionally with Demand Gen, Brand, Field & Dealer Marketing, International Business, and Product teams
Measuring content performance in terms of engagement, lead generation, organic search ranking, and impact on the sales pipeline
Qualifications required for this role include:
812 years of experience in content strategy, editorial, or brand journalism, with a minimum of 3 years in B2B industrial, manufacturing, automotive, or construction equipment sectors
Demonstrated track record of creating content that has delivered tangible business outcomes such as leads, dealer engagement, brand enhancement, or pipeline growth
Proficiency in understanding long-cycle B2B buyer journeys and translating technical specifications into engaging customer-centric narratives
Hands-on experience with SEO, content distribution, CMS tools, marketing automation platforms, and analytics
Ability to manage creative agencies, freelancers, and internal content teams effectively
Strong English writing skills, with additional proficiency in Hindi or regional languages being a bonus
Nice-to-have qualifications include prior experience in related industries such as construction equipment, commercial vehicles, agri-machinery, or capital goods, expertise in video-first storytelling, international content localization, familiarity with dealer ecosystems, and a background in journalism or content creation for industrial trade shows.
