Finance Analyst - Payroll Accounting 2

You will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll accounting activities, ensuring accurate salary payments, statutory compliance, reconciliations, and timely reporting. You will partner closely with HR, Finance, and external auditors to maintain compliant and efficient payroll operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of payroll journals for 13 countries in the APAC region
• Payroll Accounting Payroll batch interface to EBS/Cloud
• Prepare payroll journals and ensure accurate posting to the General Ledger
• Reconcile payroll accounts (wages, taxes, benefits, advances)
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Gratuity, LWF, etc.)
• Ensure liabilities recorded are correct with appropriate backups available
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations
• Conduct month-end closing activities for payroll

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting or Finance

• 3+ years of experience in payroll or accounting roles

• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and statutory laws

• Proficiency in Excel and payroll software (Oracle, ADP, etc.)

• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
