As a Renewal Account Manager at Google Workspace, your role involves proactive renewal management, negotiation and closing of contracts, revenue growth through identifying up-sell opportunities, risk management to address client objections, accurate forecasting and reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with various teams. Key Responsibilities:
Own the renewal portfolio and initiate the process in advance for on-time closure. - Negotiate terms and conditions directly with client procurement teams and decision-makers. - Identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities to expand existing customer contracts. - Develop strategies to address objections and reduce churn in "at-risk" accounts. - Maintain accurate forecasting in CRMs (e.g., Salesforce) and provide reports on renewal health. - Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Legal, and Finance teams to finalize proposals. Required Qualifications & Skills:
25+ years of experience in renewals, account management, or customer success. - Proven ability in negotiating contracts and managing complex commercial discussions. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interaction. - Strong analytical skills to analyze customer data, usage metrics, and ROI for justifying renewals.
