**Shift:**Monday-Friday | 6:30am-4:30pm (availability outside of standard hours required for maintenance -related emergencies)
Who You Are:
You’re a hands-on, detail-oriented maintenance professional focused on keeping operations running safely and efficiently. As the Lead Maintenance Technician, you support facility operations and asset integrity across Curaleaf sites, bringing strong knowledge of mechanical systems, greenhouse environments, and building maintenance. You partner closely with Maintenance leadership to support day-to-day operations, maintenance planning, and project execution, while ensuring all work aligns with company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements. You lead by example with accountability, clear communication, and a focus on safety, compliance, and minimizing downtime. What You’ll Do:
As the Lead Maintenance Technician, you’ll support facility operations, safety, and asset integrity across the site, ensuring equipment, infrastructure, and systems operate reliably and in compliance with Curaleaf standards. You’ll partner closely with Maintenance leadership and cross-functional teams to minimize downtime, support production goals, and maintain a safe, efficient environment. Key responsibilities include:
Support the maintenance and upkeep of facility infrastructure, equipment, and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems to ensure operational efficiency and uptime
Assist in executing preventative maintenance programs, repair schedules, and vendor-coordinated services
Coordinate daily maintenance activities, including assigning tasks and supporting team productivity
Partner with Maintenance leadership on repair evaluations, cost estimates, and recommended solutions
Support inventory management of tools, parts, and supplies to ensure readiness and avoid delays
Coordinate with external vendors for inspections, preventative maintenance, and specialized repairs
Maintain cleanliness and functionality of all facility areas, including buildings, grounds, and shared spaces
Communicate maintenance activities and updates to impacted teams across the site
Assist with tracking maintenance activity and reporting on progress to leadership
Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Support safety initiatives and help maintain a secure, compliant working environment
Assist cross-functional teams as needed to support overall site operations and continuity
What You’ll Bring:
You bring 2+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related production environment, with working knowledge of building systems and repairs
You have hands-on mechanical aptitude and can troubleshoot issues to support timely, effective maintenance
You’re comfortable in fast-paced environments and consistently meet productivity expectations
You demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and cleanliness
You communicate clearly and work well across teams, maintaining a professional and respectful approach
You’re organized, reliable, and able to manage tasks with urgency and follow-through
You have basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and maintenance tracking systems
Even Better If:
You hold a bachelor’s degree
You bring cannabis, agriculture, or regulated manufacturing experience
You’ve worked with asset management or maintenance tracking software
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time (8-10 hours per shift)
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and occasional lifting of heavier items with assistance
Frequent and repetitive use of hands and wrists for extended periods of time
Repetitive bending, squatting, and reaching
Ability to climb ladders or step stools to access plants or equipment
Ability to use required PPE when required, such as masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, scrubs, non-slip shoes, and Tyvek suits as necessary
Environmental Conditions
Exposure to environments with high humidity, varying temperatures, and strong odors (such as cannabis)
Exposure to soil, water, fertilizer, dust, pollen and plant pathogens
Exposure to cleaning solvents, such as high volumes of isopropyl alcohol
Exposure to loud noises, including but not limited to air compressors, packaging equipment, and alarms
Exposure to CO2 manufacturing procedures at OSHA approved CO2 levels
