As a Lead Business Analyst for the Chief Data Office (CDO) at State Street, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with various stakeholders across the enterprise to deliver multiple workstreams and initiatives for CDO. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Collaborating with different stakeholders to deliver multiple workstreams/initiatives for CDO. - Demonstrating a strong understanding and experience in Data Platform implementation while working with various stakeholder groups on end-to-end data pipeline use cases and regulatory remediation initiatives. - Leading requirements gathering, analysis, and elicitation for multiple Data Platform initiatives, including Data Modelling, Data Lineage, Data Quality, and Data Reporting. - Mapping business data requirements to their sources, suggesting data models for further data consumption, and distribution. - Developing BRD/user stories, business and data procedures, source to target mappings, DQ rules, and related documentation for the data products being developed. - Collaborating with Business stakeholders, IT/data engineering team members, business users, and implementation team along the project lifecycle. - Delivering in a complex deadline-oriented environment and multi-tasking on multiple projects concurrently with little supervision. - Proactively identifying risks, challenges, and impacts of the business uses and guiding the team with strategic roadmaps. - Creating and managing delivery roadmaps, risks, and dependencies, tracking progress, and removing hurdles to achieve OKRs and milestones. - Communicating effectively and providing updates to CDO leadership. Core/Must-have skills:
Strong experience in Data Modelling, Data Discovery with operational & functional knowledge. - Proficiency in writing SQL queries and analysis on data and meta-data. - Framework knowledge of Visualization/Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI. - Agile SDLC processes for managing and delivering requirements across sprints and releases. - Clear understanding of dependencies and support requirements from various data pipeline functions. - Excellent communication and articulation skills, proven Stakeholder Management, and strong executive presence. - 15 years of overall techno-functional experience. Good-to-have skills:
Knowledge in Global standards such as BASEL and GDPR. - Data Modelling Skills. - Agile/Project management. The work schedule for this role is hybrid.
