As an experienced technical manager in the SBU Connectivity, your primary focus will be to drive disciplined execution, adoption, and continuous improvement of Software Component Verification and Integration Verification within our projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the Automotive SPICE process area SWE.5 is performed and managed across all projects. Your role will encompass being the process owner for Automotive SPICE SWE.5, leading a team of software engineers, defining software component integration strategies, ensuring architecture-driven integration verification, and driving continuous process improvement towards Automotive SPICE CL3. Additionally, you will manage resource demands for projects and provide input during the RFI/RFQ phase. Key Responsibilities:
Ramp up and lead a team of five to six software engineers with expertise in testing software architecture and detailed design. - Act as the SWE.5 Process Owner in products and projects. - Define and implement software component integration and integration test strategies. - Ensure architecture-driven integration verification and regression testing. - Maintain strong traceability, evidence quality, and audit readiness. - Drive continuous process improvement towards Automotive SPICE CL3. - Manage resource demands for projects. - Evaluate and provide input during the RFI/RFQ phase. Qualifications Required:
10+ years of experience in software development. - Demonstrable knowledge of the Automotive SPICE process assessment model. - Exposure to C, C++, Python, Embedded Linux, AUTOSAR. - Prior experience as a Process Owner, Technical Lead, or Engineering Manager. - Proven expertise in software architecture and developing complex software systems. - Experience with testing software at different software architecture layers. - Strong communication skills with the ability to coach, collaborate, and negotiate across functions. If you possess ISTQB Foundation Level (CTFL), knowledge of Enterprise Architect, or familiarity with IBM ALM, it would be considered a bonus.
