Key Responsibilities:
- Design high-quality static posts, carousels, stories, and reels for Instagram that align with our brand aesthetic
- Shoot and edit short-form video content optimized for Instagram, including reels, transitions, tutorials, and product reveals
- Create motion graphics and basic animations to enhance content quality
- Develop seasonal campaign visuals, launch creatives, and promotional materials
- Maintain a consistent visual language across all touchpoints such as feed, stories, highlights, and ads
- Plan and manage the monthly Instagram content calendar in collaboration with the marketing team
- Research and implement emerging Instagram trends, audio trends, and content formats relevant to skincare
- Write or assist with captions, content hooks, and basic copy for posts
- Track content performance metrics and use insights to iterate and improve
- Coordinate with influencers and UGC creators for collaborative content shoots and repurposing
- Translate the brand's values, ingredient stories, and product benefits into compelling visual narratives
- Collaborate with the founders and marketing team to develop campaign concepts and creative briefs
- Stay informed about the skincare industry to create credible and relevant content
Qualifications Required:
- 35 years of experience in graphic design and/or video editing, with at least 12 years in a skincare, beauty, wellness, or lifestyle brand
Strong portfolio showcasing Instagram-first content such as reels, carousels, and brand campaignsProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and/or Figma, CapCut, or similar toolsGenuine interest in skincare trends, knowledge of actives, and understanding of the consumerDemonstrated understanding of Instagram's algorithm, content formats, and engagement drivers in the beauty spaceCreative eye with strong attention to detail and color sensitivityAbility to ideate independently, receive feedback constructively, and meet deadlinesStrong communication skills and collaborative mindset
