Key Responsibilities:
Understand clients' needs, business, industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values, and industry-related IFRS or GAAP and GAAS issues. - Develop and demonstrate an understanding of the RSM audit approach, methodology, and tools. - Perform audit procedures and tests according to the RSM audit methodology, ensuring proper documentation of work performed. - Identify areas of risk and accounting and auditing issues, discussing solutions with engagement teams. - Research technical accounting issues and develop industry expertise. - Prepare audit reports, management letters, and ensure compliance with quality standards. - Exercise professional skepticism, judgment, and adhere to the code of ethics during engagements. - Collaborate as part of a team, communicate effectively with RSM audit professionals, provide supervision and development training for associates. - Take ownership of assigned tasks, deliverables, and ensure service excellence with prompt responses to clients. - Provide high-quality client service, coordinate audit work plan and client deliverables, and ensure ongoing professional development. - Participate in various projects, collaborate with multiple teams, demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving, initiative, and timely completion of work. Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's in Commerce/MBA. - Qualified Chartered Accountant. - 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting and audit. - Strong technical skills in accounting, including IFRS or GAAP and GAAS. - Proficiency in data analytics, advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables, basic formulas), Word, and PowerPoint. - Strong multitasking and project management skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication in English for frequent interactions with RSM International clients and US-based engagement teams.
