Sr. Associate, FS Audit Product Management

As a Senior Associate, Product in Corporate Audit at Grant Thornton INDUS, you will be responsible for owning delivery of audit products and capabilities that ensure high-quality, compliant, and efficient audit execution across the firm. Your role will involve translating audit requirements into well-defined product features, managing a product backlog, coordinating with internal and external delivery partners, and ensuring that delivered capabilities provide measurable business and audit value. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that audit products support the firms ISQM1 / SOQM obligations. Key Responsibilities:

• Own delivery outcomes for one or more audit products or major audit capabilities, ensuring features meet defined audit, regulatory, and business outcomes. - Translate audit workflows, professional standards, and regulatory requirements into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. - Apply audit expertise to ensure products align with audit standards, regulatory expectations, and firm audit methodology. - Manage and prioritize a product backlog based on audit risk, business value, dependencies, and delivery constraints. - Lead discovery with audit stakeholders to identify audit processes, pain points, and opportunities for standardization or improvement. - Collaborate with engineering, design, data, and operations teams to clarify requirements and support efficient delivery. - Identify delivery risks, audit impacts, and dependencies, and define mitigation strategies with partners. - Communicate progress, risks, and upcoming milestones clearly to audit leadership and product stakeholders. - Support enablement and adoption of delivered audit capabilities across engagement teams. - Track delivery outcomes and capture realized value, including efficiency gains, quality improvements, and risk reduction. - Ensure appropriate documentation of audit products and processes in line with the ISQM1/SOQM framework. - Support evidence generation for quality management, controls, and monitoring activities. - Maintain traceability between product features, audit requirements, and quality objectives. - Design audit products with quality, defensibility, consistency, and audit trail in mind.
