Job Description Summary Job Description Job Descriptions: Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounting reports, including variance analysis and insightful commentary for senior management. Support senior management by providing timely, accurate financial information to facilitate sound decision-making and financial control. Participate in US GAAP-related projects, with a focus on developing management accounting reports and reconciling IFRS 17 and US GAAP results. Assist in annual budgeting and financial planning processes, including forecast and budget submissions. Coordinate with other departments on the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, forecasts, and budgets. Perform monthly and quarterly expense analysis and reporting. Work closely with finance and actuarial teams to develop analytics on business profitability and performance. Provide financial analysis and support to business units to enhance growth and profitability. Prepare ad-hoc management reports and analyses as required. Continuously drive quality improvements in management accounting and reporting processes. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional accounting qualification is preferred. At least 4 years of relevant work experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a sizable accounting firm or the insurance industry. Solid experience and practical knowledge in IFRS, preferably within the insurance industry. Hands-on experience with US GAAP reporting and reconciliation between IFRS and US GAAP. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial analysis skills. Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI and group reporting tools is an advantage. Good understanding of insurance industry reporting and current accounting standards, including IFRS 17. Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders in Hong Kong, Singapore, and the U.S. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Strong multitasking ability and capability to work under pressure with tight timelines. Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-changing environment.
