As a qualified Naval Architect, your role will involve supporting the design, analysis, and construction of marine vessels. You will be responsible for tasks such as ship design drawings, stability calculations, hull form development, and ensuring compliance with classification society rules. Your coordination with production teams is crucial for efficient shipbuilding operations, including fabrication, testing, and sea trials. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare ship design drawings, GA plans, and structural layouts. - Perform stability calculations, hydrostatics, and resistance analysis. - Assist in hull form development and optimization. - Ensure compliance with classification society rules (IRS, DNV, ABS, etc.). - Coordinate with fabrication and production teams during construction. - Support inspection, testing, and sea trials. - Maintain technical documentation and reports. Qualifications:
Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Naval Architecture (Mandatory)
Required Skills:
Knowledge of ship design, stability, and marine structures. - Basic understanding of classification rules and marine regulations. - Proficiency in AutoCAD / Maxsurf / Rhino / NAPA (preferred). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and teamwork abilities.
