Your main responsibility will be to provide expertise in Die tooling design and stamping processes. You will collaborate with the Project Manager and global suppliers to design and develop dies for implementation in manufacturing plants. You are expected to use TE Connectivity Centers of Excellence ideas and Best Demonstrated Practices to improve die tool capacity, processes, and redesign projects effectively. **Key Responsibilities:**
Design and develop die tooling and processes to support new product development
Optimize die designs and have proficiency in Creo 7.0, AutoCAD software
Ensure efficient production of high-quality products at the lowest cost
Implement stamping best practices and provide recommendations for design improvements
Estimate costs for new die tooling and parameters
Assess risks and provide mitigation strategies for dies and stamping processes
Generate Tooling Approval Requirements and define capability study requirements
Work with global suppliers to design, build, and condition new dies
Evaluate stamped product dimensions and recommend improvements
**Qualifications Required:**
6-8 years of experience in die design and familiarity with stamping processing
Bachelor's degree in Die Engineering or Mechanical Design
