Oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) processes across multiple construction and engineering projects
Carry out/Co-ordinate technical due diligence design reviews, report design non-compliances and risks, workshop with design team to develop most suitable design solution for client requirements
Monitor project compliance with specifications, contractual requirements, and quality standards
Carry out site inspections, benchmark reviews, technical submittal reviews, audits, and quality reviews throughout project delivery
Review and collate quality documentation, and handover records
Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve quality and compliance issues
Support contract administration activities including documentation review, change management, and reporting
Chair meetings and record minutes, for both internal and external stakeholder meetings
Issue monthly progress reports
Ensure works are delivered in line with relevant regulations, standards, and client requirements
Monitor construction progress and identify risks relating to quality, programme, and contractual performance
Maintain accurate project records, reports, and quality tracking systems
Provide leadership, guidance, and continuous improvement support across project teams
Essential Requirements
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Surveying, or a related discipline
Strong experience in Project management/project co-ordination, design management/co-ordination, contracts management, or construction project delivery
Strong experience in a quality assurance, quality control and technical advisory role would be advantageous
Excellent understanding of construction quality standards, specifications, and compliance processes
Significant on-site experience with strong knowledge of construction methodologies and sequencing
Experience managing project documentation, inspections, and contractor coordination
Strong understanding of construction contracts and contract administration procedures
Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail
Proactive and collaborative approach to project delivery
Desirable Requirements
Chartered status or progression toward professional accreditation
Experience working on commercial, residential, healthcare, or industrial developments
Familiarity with BCAR processes and construction compliance requirements
Knowledge of commissioning, testing, and handover procedures
Experience using digital QA/QC or project management platforms
Leadership or team management experience
