Role Title: Fulfilment Assistant
Job Purpose:
To process customer orders from receipt to delivery. Pack, scan, invoice, and ship orders to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment. Maintain stock accuracy, ensure seamless order dispatch, and deliver excellent customer service by addressing any issues related to order processing and logistics. N.B. All applications must be received on or before 5:00 PM CAT on September 17th 2024. An assessment test may be part of the selection process. Role Responsibilities:
Process customer orders by packaging, scanning, invoicing, and shipping, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining organized customer records. - Assist in updating daily sales and fulfillment records, ensuring accurate data input into systems such as Dynamics. - Conduct regular stock checks to ensure physical inventory matches digital records, maintaining 0% variance, and participate in weekly and monthly audits. - Facilitate daily dispatches to customer locations, ensuring on-time deliveries and resolving any issues during dispatch with logistics partners. - Collect proof of payments from riders and drivers, promptly record them in Business Central, and work with the finance team for timely reconciliation. - Track and escalate technical issues related to order fulfillment for timely resolution. - Assist walk-in customers and refer them to the Kasha call center while supporting the customer service team with fulfillment-related inquiries. - Provide logistical support to drivers and riders, resolving any dispatch issues with a quick turnaround. - Ensure all customer delivery files are updated and organized, maintaining accurate fulfillment documentation for future reference. - Contribute to process improvement by identifying inefficiencies in order processing and logistics, proposing solutions to enhance efficiency. Role Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics, order fulfillment, warehouse management, or a related area. - Experience in working with inventory management systems, ERP (preferably Dynamics or Business Central), and other reporting tools. - Proficiency in using logistics and fulfillment software (e.g., Dynamics, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel). - Strong understanding of inventory control procedures and stock management techniques. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, drivers, and internal teams. - Strong problem-solving skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
