The team focuses on providing support for new business development and strategy research to enhance decision-making processes for the global Asset-Backed Securities team. Your role will involve fundamental research on specific companies and subsectors in Specialty Finance/CRE, including financial modeling, benchmarking, and attending earnings calls. You will collaborate with the global team on research projects and work closely with technology development teams to aid data analysis efforts. **Key Responsibilities:**
Perform fundamental research on specific companies and subsectors in Specialty Finance/CRE
Model and update company financial models
Conduct benchmarking of operational and valuation metrics versus peer group
Collaborate on research projects with the global team
Aid Front Office data analysis efforts by working closely with technology development teams
**Qualifications Required:**
Master's degree in finance or CFA with 2-5 years of relevant experience
Strong financial modeling and accounting skills
Equity research experience in Specialty Finance sectors, CRE/REITs, and/or Financials
Working knowledge of structured products such as ABS, CLO, RMBS, CMBS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Analytical skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to interact effectively with stakeholders
