In this leadership role, you will play a critical part in fostering the relationship between Athene Apollo India actuarial team by enabling effective two-way communication. Your responsibilities will include delivering on objectives by leveraging commitments on cost, time, and optimizing solutions for long-term sustainability. **Key Responsibilities:**
Support investment accounting and reporting on a US GAAP, US Statutory, and Bermuda Statutory basis for Athene USA
Prepare quarterly and annual reporting for consolidated US GAAP (10Q & 10K) and unconsolidated US Statutory filings
Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliations of investment data to GL for applicable bases of accounting
Review investment portfolio activity in the ePAM accounting system using proprietary data warehouse and reporter (ARCHIE)
Prepare and post journal entries as needed within the close and reconciliation process
Collaborate with front office and upstream accounting and operations teams to resolve investment data issues
Assist with SEC reporting requirements and address Investor/Analyst questions and comments
Support internal and external audit requests
Proactively seek process improvements to meet new requirements and enhance operational reliability and efficiency
