In this leadership role, you will play a critical part in fostering the relationship between Athene Apollo India actuarial team by enabling effective two-way communication. Your responsibilities will include delivering on objectives by leveraging commitments on cost, time, and optimizing solutions for long-term sustainability. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Support investment accounting and reporting on a US GAAP, US Statutory, and Bermuda Statutory basis for Athene USA
- Prepare quarterly and annual reporting for consolidated US GAAP (10Q & 10K) and unconsolidated US Statutory filings
- Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliations of investment data to GL for applicable bases of accounting
- Review investment portfolio activity in the ePAM accounting system using proprietary data warehouse and reporter (ARCHIE)
- Prepare and post journal entries as needed within the close and reconciliation process
- Collaborate with front office and upstream accounting and operations teams to resolve investment data issues
- Assist with SEC reporting requirements and address Investor/Analyst questions and comments
- Support internal and external audit requests
