As a Senior Release Manager at Clarivate, you will play a crucial role in owning the Release Management lifecycle. This involves scheduling, coordinating, and managing releases across the enterprise for various inter-related sub-systems. The releases may include application updates, operating system patches, security improvements, hardware upgrades, projects, and programs. Your responsibilities will include implementing and managing release processes to facilitate the progression of code in development, test, and production environments. **Key Responsibilities:**
Co-ordinate with all development and support teams to understand the functionality each sub-system is developing and plan the release windows and cycles. - Liaise with the solutions analysts to understand the implications of each sub-system change, any impacts to other sub-system/Editorial teams, and co-ordinate all consequent changes. - Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality. - Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required. - Organize hyper care for the new/changed functionality. - Continually work towards making improvements in the release process. CI/CD and automation are key. **Qualifications Required:**
Bachelor or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. - At least 9 years of relevant experience as a Release Manager or in a similar role. - Strong leadership and project management skills. - Experience in Agile Development (Scrum). - Exposure to either AWS or Azure Cloud is mandatory. - Good understanding of CI/CD and automation scripting.
