Qualifications Required:
Masters degree in Building Science, Architecture, Sustainability, Project Management, etc. - 1-3 years of proven experience in managing building or sustainability projects
Understanding of daylighting, glare, energy performance, and passive design strategies
Experience in using tools such as LightStanza, IES VE, DesignBuilder, SketchUp, Rhino, or Revit
Familiarity with green building rating systems and energy codes
Strong report writing, analytical, and presentation skills
High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Excellent teamwork, leadership, and communication abilities Note: The role and performance of the incumbent will be subject to normal review and assessment systems at IIHS. Role Overview: You will be responsible for leading the day-to-day coordination and management of multiple high-performance building projects under the ASSURE programme. Your role will involve ensuring project delivery against milestones, facilitating collaboration among technical and design teams, and supporting integrated, sustainability-driven design processes. Strong organizational, stakeholder management, and communication skills, along with familiarity with green buildings and energy-efficient design, are essential for this role. This position could potentially turn into a regular position over time. Key Responsibilities:
Coordinating and managing multiple ASSURE-IIHS projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, deliverables, and performance goals
Serving as the primary liaison between internal teams, consultants, clients, and external partners
Planning and facilitating workshops, stakeholder meetings, and design charrettes for integrated decision-making
Tracking project progress, KPIs, and reporting requirements; ensuring timely communication with leadership
Supporting technical teams with data collection, analysis, and documentation
Preparing and reviewing reports, presentations, and dashboards for project stakeholders
Managing knowledge-sharing and training activities, including webinars and capacity-building sessions
Identifying and mitigating project risks while maintaining quality and efficiency
Providing support for daylight, glare, faade analyses, and energy simulation when required
Contributing to institutional activities including academics, research, training, and operations
Supporting other IIHS activities as assigned
Participating in all activities of institution-building at IIHS and traveling on IIHS work within or outside the country as needed
