Job Description & Summary: A career within GLOBAL TAX OPERATIONS Responsibilities: Global Tax Operations is a vertical specializing in global tax and transfer pricing compliance and documentation services. Tax compliance team, in partnership with network firms globally, deals with managing direct tax, indirect tax and operational tax compliances; assisting with associated tax accounting; supporting tax controversy management; acting as tax technology partner to clients; amongst many other things. Our Services to Clients include the following: Tax compliance End to end preparation and technical review of tax returns Tax instalment payment calculations Managing tax compliance calendars, workflow tools Performing varied reconciliations Tax accounting Assistance with jurisdiction specific monthly, reporting period accounting/ provisions Helping with return to provision reconciliations Tax controversy management Strategize response to audit questionnaires Assist in drafting initial responses and discussing with Clients and Tax technology Acting as technology advisor for the Clients to help suggest solutions which bring in efficiencies and effectiveness Indirect tax automation implementation for ERPs across the regions/ countries Configuring third party Indirect tax tools/ engines across regions Helping upgrades/ enhancements Others With technical expertise for multiple countries, we help Clients with various projects, either regulatory or transformation related Overall project coordination and management Perform financial data analysis General Undertakes target driving role Leading client relationships Undertaking across service lines marketing initiatives Mandatory skill sets: Excellent skillset working on MS office (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint) Demonstrating proactive and robust thought process Meticulous and committed attitude Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good interpersonal skills Passion for client servicing Ensuring use of the methodologies, tools and technologies specific to tax Adaptable to learn new processes, concepts and skills Preferred skill sets: Basic understanding of Indirect Tax laws relating to GST/VAT, Customs of multiple countries Basic knowledge of GST/VAT compliances such as VAT/GST return, EU sales listing, Intrastate, reconciliation etc. Basic knowledge of ERP system, tax technology and tools Years of experience required: 6 years minimum Education qualification: CA/postgraduate/MBA Education (if blank, degree and/or field of study not specified) Degrees/Field of Study required: Chartered Accountant Diploma Degrees/Field of Study preferred: Certifications (if blank, certifications not specified) Required Skills Sales Taxes Optional Skills Accepting Feedback, Accepting Feedback, Active Listening, Certified Payroll, Communication, Domestic Restructuring (Taxes), Emotional Regulation, Empathy, Inclusion, Income Tax Provisions, Intellectual Curiosity, Optimism, Partnership Tax, Research and Development (R&D) Tax Credits, Retail and Consumer (Taxes), Tax Credit, Taxes, Tax Incentives, Tax Legislation, Tax Modeling, Tax Policy, Tax Provisions, Tax Restructuring, Tax Structures, Teamwork {+ 1 more} Desired Languages (If blank, desired languages not specified) Travel Requirements Available for Work Visa Sponsorship?
