You will be responsible for working with a dedicated advisor or a team of financial advisors and staff to provide outstanding service to clients. Assist financial advisors in servicing clients, including preparing basic financial plans, conducting investment research, and completing trades and transactions
Prepare and summarize client meetings, schedule and confirm meetings, create agendas and meeting summaries, and provide necessary follow-up
Ensure successful submission of new business paperwork, track new insurance/annuity applications, and coordinate rollovers
Coordinate marketing events, create marketing compliance documentation, and assist in increasing advisors' social media presence
Perform general administrative duties such as answering the advisor's phone, processing expense management reports, preparing client correspondence, and setting up client files
Assist clients in enrolling/servicing on various Ameriprise tools
**Required Qualifications:**
Willingness to obtain licensing certifications as needed (SERIES 7 and possibly others)
Willingness to work evening hours: 8:00 pm to 4:30 am (9:30 am to 6 pm CST)
Graduate in finance discipline (0-1 year experience or 1-year diploma preferred)
Good communication skills
Basic understanding of MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word
Exposure to financial products like mutual funds, insurance, retirement services, etc. - Detail-oriented with high accuracy levels
Ability to meet strict timelines per agreed SLAs for advisor practices
