BCM One is looking for a Commercial Regulatory Counsel to provide practical, business-enabling legal guidance in a highly regulated and fast-moving telecom environment. In this role, you’ll be the go-to advisor on FCC and telecom regulatory compliance, while also supporting commercial contracting with a strong regulatory lens. You’ll partner closely with Executives and cross-functional leaders to keep our operations compliant, reduce risk, and help the business scale confidently. What You Will Do:
Provide legal advice on telecom licensing, FCC compliance, and operational regulatory issues. - Lead and manage regulatory filings, comments, and responses with the FCC and other agencies; support advocacy efforts and agency interactions. - Monitor, interpret, and translate regulatory developments into clear, actionable guidance for internal teams. - Partner with product, engineering, and sales to evaluate legal regulatory risk in product development and commercialization. - Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with an emphasis on regulatory provisions and risk mitigation. - Create and deliver training that improves compliance awareness and proactive risk management across the organization. - Support responses to regulatory inquiries, investigations, or enforcement matters in coordination with the General Counsel and outside counsel when needed. - Proactively identify emerging telecom risk areas and help build governance into the business so compliance becomes part of how we operate, not just a checkbox.
