You will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing the BITSoM brand strategy across various social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube. This includes ideating the social media calendar, writing posts, coordinating with agencies for visual content creation, and publishing the posts. Additionally, you will collaborate with students, faculty, and alumni to create engaging stories for social media and blog. You will also be managing external creative partners for graphic design, video production, shoots, and final deliverables. Your role will involve defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as reach, engagement, and follower growth, and optimizing strategies based on insights. Furthermore, you will be responsible for regularly updating and managing website content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and aesthetics. Qualifications and Competencies:
Possess 2-3 years of experience in social media marketing or content strategy, preferably in the education or media sector. - Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create sharp, clear, and simple content. - Capable of collaborating with team members, engaging with stakeholders, and managing external vendors and creative partners. - A bachelor's degree in liberal arts or English literature would be advantageous. The nature of employment for this position is contractual, with a fixed-term contract of one year.
