Own and define the roadmap for the Paid Search content strategy and creative automation advancements for creative asset superiority at scale, balancing LLM-powered automation velocity with quality control, brand safety, and localized messaging effectiveness by owning the experimentation framework for ad creatives
Set the strategic direction for ad creative excellence by identifying emerging trends in the ad creation space (GenAI integration, automatically created ads evolution, creative automation expansion) and translating them into GetYourGuide-specific opportunities and own the alignment with our platform partners to anticipate ad format evolution, early adopt betas, and shape the RSA strategy around platform shifts
Act as strategic stakeholder betweenthe Performance team, Product and Data Science to advance the ads creative capabilities
Ensure internal optimization tools are architected to adapt to Google's evolving ad creation landscape while maintaining GetYourGuide's quality standards
Conduct to identify trends, patterns, and inflection points in ad creative performance, RSA effectiveness, and platform dynamics

Requirements
Degree in economics, marketing, statistics, computer science, or similar quantitative discipline
5-7 years of experience in performance marketing, with solid expertise in Paid Search and proven ability to manage strategic initiatives at scale
Demonstrated track record of owning a domain or strategic roadmap and delivering measurable outcomes through cross-functional leadership
Deep understanding of Google Ads creative systems, including RSA architecture, automatically created ads, ad customizers, dynamic creative optimization, and API integrations for ad creation
Experience orchestrating cross-functional initiatives involving internal and external stakeholders
Ability to identify emerging trends in ad creative, automation, and GenAI applications, translating them into competitive strategies for GetYourGuide
Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate trade-offs between creative control and automation efficiency, resolving conflicting priorities across stakeholders
Expertise in defining experimentation frameworks and innovation governance
Fluent in discussing key marketing KPIs and creative performance metrics
Comfortable working with large datasets, analyzing creative performance patterns. SQL skills are a plus.
Understanding of LLM-based creative generation and AI readiness in the context of Paid Search optimization
Ability to digest complex technical requirements (LLM prompting and fine-tuning, asset pipeline architecture, creative quality scoring) and translate them into strategic direction
