As a Video Editor at Specialty Surgical Oncology (SSO) Cancer Hospital, you will be responsible for creating engaging video content for digital and offline platforms in a professional or healthcare environment. Your strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual clarity will play a vital role in enhancing video footage for marketing, educational, and branding purposes. Key Responsibilities:
Edit and produce videos for various platforms such as social media, websites, YouTube, ads, webinars, and internal communications
Create short-form videos like reels, shorts, and performance ads
Edit doctor interviews, patient testimonials, event videos, and educational content
Incorporate graphics, subtitles, transitions, music, and basic animations as needed
Ensure videos are in line with brand guidelines and tone
Collaborate with marketing and content teams to understand briefs and objectives
Optimize videos for different platforms and aspect ratios
Manage multiple projects and adhere to timelines
Maintain organized video files and archives
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree, diploma, or certification in Video Editing, Media, or a related field
13 years of relevant video editing experience (freshers with strong portfolios may be considered)
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is mandatory
Working knowledge of After Effects for basic motion graphics
Understanding of video formats, codecs, frame rates, and resolutions
Strong sense of storytelling, timing, and visual aesthetics
Soft Skills:
Clear communication and understanding of briefs
Ability to accept feedback and make revisions efficiently
Strong time management and ownership mindset
