Your responsibilities will be as follows:
Ensuring and following up the global tax reporting obligations related to life insurance business of the company,
Working closely with other business units involved in the operational tax / tax reporting processes in order to ensure that tax reporting process are prepared and submitted in an accurate and timely manner,
Provide support on the communication with the existing network of fiscal representatives and ensure a proper monitoring process of this network on a regular basis,
Maintain good governance levels of the tax reporting obligations of the company with the assistance of wealth structuring experts,
Provide advice, guidance and recommendation regarding the tax reporting process/obligations, potential developments and issues which could be generated by these obligations,
Participating, and in some cases coordinating, projects related with the improvement of the tax reporting internal processes. Your profile – Have you got what it takes to become our Tax Officer? - Master Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or related field, ideally with a specialization in Tax,
Experience of 3-5 years within the Operational Tax / Tax Reporting area of expertise within the Tax reporting/Compliance department of a Big 4 or other firm,
Ability to work on cross border tax topics,
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels,
Strong analytical/IT skills and attention to detail,
Problem solver with strong resilience,
Ability to thrive in an environment of tight deadlines and constantly changing conditions, working on multiple assignments,
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written,
Fluency in English (French or German would be considered as an asset). Additional Assets
Knowledge in some of the following topics would be considered as an asset:
Corporate Tax and VAT;
Tax Restructuring and Transfer Pricing areas;
Pillar Two / GloBE implementation
Knowledge about the different tax reporting requirements in different jurisdictions;
Foreign withholding taxes. - In-house experience within the life-insurance sector would be a plus.
