As an AVP Business Management at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in supporting the CAO department by actively participating in various tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
Actively participating in the budget procedure and monitoring, including monthly consolidating of accounts by consumer entity and budget item, and contributing to analysis
Managing the accounting of consultants by placing orders in FUSION and monitoring accruals monthly
Preparing monthly accounting certification in AssureNet
Updating and creating new operating procedures (DIMs) as required
Performing record management for Risk owned records
Coordinating Business Continuity planning for the Risk COO perimeter
Monitoring the workforce plan for the Risk function, including permanent employees, contractors, interns/apprentices, on shore and offshore
Monitoring the hiring process, including vacancies, HATs, and CAPs
Following up on the ORTs of the RISK function as SRO delegate
Monitoring regulatory reports for the RISK MAGNUS program function
Taking initiative to document, simplify, streamline, and automate processes to improve internal controls
Requirements:
Graduate/Post Graduate with overall experience of 10 years, including 3-7 years of relevant experience
Excellent business management experience in a large and complex organization
Intermediate IT skills and advanced proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power PDF
Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and software
Proficiency in collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc. - Ability to re-prioritize within short timescales, demonstrating patience and compassion
Understanding of relevant administration systems and processes such as FUSION, and associated expenses/travel policies
