As a Tour Event Planner, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and executing travel events and tour experiences for individuals, groups, or corporate clients. Your role will involve managing all aspects of tour logistics to ensure a seamless guest experience. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and organize customized tour itineraries and events based on client needs and preferences. - Coordinate all logistics, including transportation, accommodation, meals, site visits, and activities. - Liaise with vendors, tour guides, venues, and service providers to ensure high standards are met. - Manage budgets, track expenses, and negotiate favorable rates with suppliers. - Handle bookings, permits, and necessary documentation for tours. - Create detailed event schedules and contingency plans. - Communicate effectively with clients throughout the planning process and during tours. - Conduct site inspections and research destinations for quality and safety assurance. - Address unexpected issues during events or tours and provide on-the-ground support. - Collect and analyze post-event feedback to enhance future planning. Qualifications Required:
Proven experience as an event planner or travel/tour coordinator. - Strong project management and organizational skills. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines. - Proficiency in event planning software and travel booking systems. - Willingness to travel as needed for site visits or tour supervision. - Knowledge of travel regulations, health and safety standards, and international customs is a plus. - Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Event Planning, or related field preferred.
