As a Mid-Level Data Scientist reporting to the Director of Data Science, you'll play a meaningful role in crafting solutions, translating data into meaningful insights, and helping build the future of our products and client experiences. Key Responsibilities Design, research, and develop machine learning and AI solutions that drive measurable business outcomes across the enterprise. Translate data insights into practical, decision-ready recommendations for both technical and non-technical collaborators. Partner with key business collaborators to understand their objectives and communicate the value and impact of data science initiatives. Provide regular updates on project progress, findings, and potential impact on key performance indicators. Foster a collaborative, informed decision-making culture by presenting insights clearly and accessibly across teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related technical field. 2-4 years of experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or in a similar role. Solid understanding of statistical, machine learning, and deep learning fundamentals, including hypothesis testing, regression, classification, optimization, and core neural network concepts and architectures. Proficiency in Python and SQL or equivalent relational database technologies. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to guide cross-functional teams on complex, data-driven projects. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a corporate, finance, or fintech environment. Hands-on experience with generative AI tools and large language model workflows. Practical industry experience with end-to-end deep learning model development, from problem definition through evaluation and monitoring. This position is located in Vilnius, Lithuania and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment with at least 3 days per week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates. Note: The candidate is encouraged to moderately align their schedule with US East Coast working hours (10 AM – 7 PM EET/EEST). The base pay range for this role is 3800 – 4800 EUR gross monthly. Actual pay depends on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
