As an Engineering Manager DevOps (AWS) at Baazi Games, you will be responsible for leading our platform and infrastructure teams. Your focus will be on driving cloud architecture, automation, reliability, and scalability, while managing a high-performing DevOps team. **Key Responsibilities:**
Lead and mentor a team of DevOps / Platform Engineers
Design and scale AWS-based infrastructure (EC2, EKS, Lambda, VPC, S3, API Gateway)
Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and release processes
Manage and scale Kubernetes environments (EKS preferred)
Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of systems
Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus)
Own incident management, RCA, and system reliability improvements
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment velocity and efficiency
Drive security best practices and cloud cost optimization
**Required Skills & Experience:**
8+ years in DevOps / SRE / Cloud Engineering
2+ years in team management / leadership roles
Strong hands-on expertise in AWS ecosystem
Experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
Strong experience in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
Strong understanding of Linux systems and networking
Experience with microservices and distributed systems
**Good to Have:**
Experience with Kafka or event-driven architectures
Exposure to high-scale consumer / gaming platforms
Experience with cloud security and compliance practices
Background in SRE practices (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets)
