Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable microservices and APIs using Java 11+, Spring Boot, and Spring WebFlux
Building, enhancing, and supporting RESTful and SOAP services with robust data handling
Developing and maintaining frontend components using JSF to ensure a seamless user experience
Implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and managing deployments to servers like Tomcat, Netty, or Pivotal Cloud Foundry
Working with Kafka for event-driven architecture and Drools for business rule management
Using Apache Freemarker for dynamic templating as needed
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/SAFe environment, participating in PI planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Guiding and mentoring junior engineers to uphold quality and performance standards
Conducting code reviews, debugging complex issues, and ensuring high availability of services in production
Qualifications required for this role include:
7+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation
Hands-on expertise with Java-based test automation, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, and RestAssured
Strong knowledge of API testing tools and techniques such as Postman, SoapUI, and Insomnia
Experience with version control and CI/CD tools like Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, or similar
Proficiency in Core Java, Maven, and integrated development environments like IntelliJ
Excellent understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
Exposure to enterprise-scale applications, preferably in regulated environments like finance or payments
Desirable skills for this role include:
Working knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
Familiarity with SAFe Agile or similar scaled agile frameworks
