YOUR DAY-TO-DAY As a Team Lead and Backend Engineer , you will:
Lead and mentor a team of engineers, supporting their growth and development
Take part in recruiting, onboarding and performance reviews
Work closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to deliver business and regulatory requirements
Design and develop backend systems that are scalable, reliable and maintainable
Contribute to architectural decisions and technology evolution of the Wallet platform
Collaborate with DBAs and DevOps to ensure optimal system performance and operational stability
Drive improvements in system performance, reliability and cost efficiency
Help maintain high engineering standards through code reviews and technical discussions
Help drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools and workflows to improve productivity, code quality, and engineering practices
Our teams are cross-functional, and engineers collaborate closely across disciplines to deliver high-quality systems. ## WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Strong leadership and communication skills
Experience working in Agile development environments
Excellent knowledge of C# and .NET
Experience designing scalable backend systems
Strong understanding of distributed systems and data consistency
Solid understanding of relational databases, transaction processing, and query performance
Experience working with high-throughput transactional systems
Experience with cloud-native architectures
Experience in financial, payments, or high-reliability platforms
Interest in modern developer tooling, including AI-assisted software development. ## WHAT DOES OUR TECH STACK LOOK LIKE?
