As an Intern within RAIS, you will collaborate with experienced problem-solvers and subject matter experts to tackle intricate business challenges from strategy through execution. Your contributions will be essential to delivering impactful solutions for our clients, spanning the spectrum of AI and data-related services. Key responsibilities and skillsets include: · Foundational Knowledge of Technology: Demonstrates a foundational knowledge of technology concepts and applications and how they can be applied to solve real-world problems. Additionally, the ability to stay updated with the latest technological trends and advancements are essential. · Problem Solving and Analytical Skills: Leverage strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex business challenges, validate and interpret data, and provide insightful recommendations that drive strategic and executional decisions. · Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor. Demonstrate a deep understanding of client needs and ensure that engagements are aligned with client objectives and strategic outcomes. · Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively within diverse teams and with external stakeholders. Utilize excellent interpersonal skills to manage resources and build positive working relationships across various levels, ensuring cohesive team dynamics. · Communication Skills: Exhibit clear and persuasive communication skills, both verbally and in writing. About you While diverse backgrounds and experiences are valued, ideal candidates possess a majority of the following qualifications: · Fresh graduates with a bachelor's or master's degree in analytically and quantitatively rigorous disciplines, such as Accounting, Actuarial Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or Software Engineering. · Demonstrated passion for technology, with experience in the following domains: o Foundational Platforms Proficiency: Demonstrates knowledge and practical experience with foundational platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP. o Data Visualization Skills: Possesses foundational knowledge in data storytelling and visualization using tools like PowerBI and Tableau. Capable of transforming complex data sets into intuitive visual formats that convey insights effectively. o Requirement Translation and Technical Logic Design: Able to effectively interpret client needs and translate them into actionable technical solutions. Proficient in bridging the gap between business challenges and technical implementations, ensuring clear logic and structured transformations. o Data: Demonstrates a foundational understanding of data structures, database systems, and data processing techniques. Desired skills include: § Big data: · Graph and NoSQL databases (e.g. Elasticsearch, Neo4J, MongoDB, Cassandra) · Data lake and warehousing solutions (e.g. ADLS, Amazon Redshift, SSMS, Snowflake, Databricks). § Data architecture design and assessment (e.g. patterns to handle batch ingestion, near-real-time ingestion, event streaming, Pub/Sub models) § Data modelling: Dimensional data models, conceptual-logical-physical models, and implementation of physical models on data warehouses and cloud platforms § Data integration and management: · ETL tools (e.g. Informatica, AWS Glue, Matillion) · API management (e.g. Apigee, MuleSoft, AWS API Gateway, Postman) § Data quality and data governance: · Data quality tools (e.g. Informatica Data Quality, Trillium Software, SAS Data Quality, SAP Data Quality Management) · Data governance tools (e.g. Collibra, Alation, Purview, Informatica) o AI: Possesses practical experience applying Automation, Analytics, AI and GenAI to solve business problems. Desired skills include: § Demonstrates previous experience designing and executing projects that leverage data analytics, data science, AI, and automation methods to resolve complex business challenges. Keeps abreast of evolving technologies and methodologies in the fields of data science and AI. § Build: · Machine Learning: Skilled in applying both supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms, along with capabilities in model evaluation, validation, feature engineering, and hyperparameter tuning to optimize performance. (e.g. Scikit-learn, XGBoost, Statsmodels) · Deep Learning: Knowledgeable in creating, training, and deploying neural network models, including convolutional neural networks and recurrent neural networks, within deep learning frameworks. (e.g. Tensorflow, PyTorch) · Programming: Proficient in Python or R, with expertise in using relevant libraries for data manipulation, machine learning, and deep learning. Exposure to additional programming languages like Java is an advantage. § Govern: Foundational knowledge of responsible AI adoption through principles and guidelines · Risk Evaluation: Demonstrate the capacity to thoughtfully analyse associated risks that AI systems may present · Continuous Learning and Engagement: Actively engage with emerging frameworks, standards and technical advances · Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for articulating complex ideas and insights effectively to both clients and team members. · Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct, demonstrating integrity in all interactions and adhering to ethical practices and transparency. · Embrace a growth mindset and demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning, staying current with industry best practices and adapting readily to evolving client needs.
