As a Founding Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in anchoring our engineering team and building scalable financial systems to innovate the future of climate finance. You will work closely with our founders to develop the first version of our product(s) and be involved in all phases of software and web development. Your responsibilities will include leading product development, collaborating with stakeholders, managing a team of engineers, and ensuring high-quality software solutions. **Key Responsibilities:**
Lead the development of first product(s) from ideation to maintenance
Collaborate with founders and stakeholders to build products, tools, and services from scratch
Gather requirements, conduct customer interviews, and create robust product solutions
Brainstorm and establish technology and architectural roadmap
Provide technical expertise for scalable design decisions and performance enhancements
Manage product development priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
Recruit and oversee a small team of engineers
Ensure high-performing web applications and websites
**Qualifications Required:**
Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
4-7 years of experience as a full-stack developer at a fast-paced, early/growth stage startup
Proficiency in frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript & ReactJS/VueJS
Proficiency in backend technologies like Java/NodeJs/Golang/Python/Ruby
Hands-on experience with cloud services like AWS/GCP/Azure/DigitalOcean
Knowledge of codebases, version control systems (Git), SQL database design, and RDBMS concepts
Strong analytical, logical thinking, and code quality maintenance skills
