Senior Full-Stack .NET Software Engineer

Role Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer at Navitas, you will be working at the intersection of FinTech and Healthcare, contributing to simplifying healthcare payment integrity and creating value for health insurers, healthcare providers, and consumers. You will be part of a team that is not a startup but moves swiftly like one when needed. Your primary focus will be on building intuitive and performant web experiences backed by scalable, event-driven services. You will have the opportunity to work on modernizing the .NET and SQL Server stack, using AI agents for efficient migrations and refactors, and collaborating with various teams to ship customer-delighting features at scale. Key Responsibilities:

Ship modernization work at a pace that surprises people, leveraging AI agents to expedite framework upgrades, refactors, API extraction, test scaffolding, and documentation. - Build reusable playbooks for the team, including prompt templates, repo-level agent instructions, migration checklists, and review heuristics. - Move the needle by increasing the number of modules migrated per sprint and ensuring faster PR turnarounds without a spike in production bugs. - Modernize the .NET and SQL Server stack, untangling architecture boundaries and addressing performance issues. - Dive into SQL Server tasks such as query performance, indexing, and transactional correctness, and assist in building data pipelines if required. - Implement automated test coverage on modernized code and establish quality guardrails including automated tests, CI processes, structured logging, and observability. - Collaborate with analysts, stakeholders, and other engineers to translate business problems into working software and help in building honest delivery plans with pragmatic milestones. - Ensure confidence in feature shipments with thorough testing and quality assurance practices.
