In our interview process, we’re looking to assess mutual fit - we want you to ask us questions too! We want to draw upon your vast prior experience to give us detailed and specific insights into how you operate and lead. Our technical interviews focus on how you design systems because we believe this is the best way for us to see how you work and for you to see how we collaborate. We don’t ask you to write code to solve technical brainteasers that don’t appear in your day to day job. - Recruiter Screen [30m]: Introductory call with our recruiting team to get to know each other and see if the role could be a good mutual fit. - Hiring Manager Conversation [30m]: Meet with the hiring manager to discuss the role, your previous experiences, and leadership style. - A deep dive into leadership practices, past companies, and past leadership roles. - Work with an engineer to architect a system at a conceptual level. You’ll start from customer requirements and work all the way down to specific technical implementation. - Reflect on a past project with an engineering leader, going deep into both technical and project management details. - Discuss how you think about impact, make priority tradeoffs, and measure technical excellence with the hiring manager.
