We're looking for a Senior Workplace Manager - Design & Build to own the end-to-end delivery of our office build-outs, fit-outs, and workplace improvement projects globally. You'll be the central point of accountability for translating Legora's design vision into spaces that actually get built — on time, on budget, and to a standard we're proud of. This is a hands-on role. You'll manage projects from conception through to handover, working closely with architects, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders across Real Estate, Workplace Experience, Legal, Procurement, IT, and Finance. You'll be joining a Workplace team that moves fast and holds a high bar — and you'll be expected to do the same. ## What You'll Do
Own Project Delivery
Lead all phases of workplace construction and fit-out projects: scoping, planning, permitting, procurement, construction, and handover
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and risk registers across all active projects
Hold vendors and contractors accountable to scope, timeline, and quality standards
Ensure design intent is preserved throughout the construction process
Manage External Partners
Serve as the primary point of contact for architects, general contractors, project management consultants, and specialist vendors
Run RFP and vendor selection processes; negotiate contracts and manage commercial relationships
Conduct regular site visits and progress reviews to maintain quality control
Coordinate Internally
Partner with the Real Estate team on site selection, lease negotiation support, and space planning
Work with Workplace Experience to ensure operational readiness at handover
Collaborate with Finance on budget approvals, forecasting, and invoice management
Provide regular project updates to leadership, surfacing risks early and clearly
Drive Standards and Continuous Improvement
Contribute to the development of Legora's global workplace design standards and playbooks
Build and maintain accurate project documentation — drawings, specifications, schedules, and lessons learned
Identify opportunities to improve how we deliver projects — faster, smarter, and with less friction
What You Bring
6–10 years of experience in workplace, commercial construction, or corporate real estate project management
Demonstrated track record of delivering complex fit-out and build-out projects on time and on budget
Strong commercial acumen — comfortable owning a budget, reading a contract, and negotiating with vendors
Experience managing external architects, contractors, and specialist consultants across full project lifecycles
Familiarity with permitting processes, local building codes, and construction administration
Proficiency in project management tools and working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar (Revit a plus)
Clear, direct communicator — equally comfortable on a construction site and in a leadership update
High ownership mindset: you close gaps, flag problems early, and don't wait to be told what to do
Nice to Have
Experience delivering projects across multiple geographies or international markets
Background working in-house at a fast-growing tech or SaaS company
Familiarity with WELL, LEED, or BREEAM standards
Experience with FF&E procurement and coordination
