Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the foremost technical authority for network and network security infrastructure-related matters, providing expert guidance and leadership to technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level network and network security infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive network strategies, emphasizing scalability, security, and high-performance connectivity. - Provide hands-on technical expertise across various networking technologies, including but not limited to routing and switching, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. - Analyze intricate technical requirements and propose innovative network solutions that address business needs, considering aspects such as network performance optimization, cost-efficiency, and data confidentiality. - Evaluate and implement emerging networking and security technologies, tools, and methodologies, remaining current with industry trends and advances. - Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their qualified growth and facilitating knowledge sharing. - Participate in incident response and problem resolution efforts, ensuring timely resolution of critical network-related issues. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, encompassing network architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures, and best practice guidelines. - Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate and integrate external networking and security solutions into the organization's infrastructure. - Conduct regular security assessments and audits of the network infrastructure, identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities. - Lead network capacity planning initiatives to ensure the infrastructure can accommodate present and future connectivity requirements. - Provide support and guidance in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing, particularly regarding network infrastructure components. - Collaborate with project managers to define and oversee network-related tasks within broader projects. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with CCIE / CISSP Certification
A minimum of 8 years of experience in network and network security infrastructure management, with a focus on advanced technical roles. - Profound expertise in multiple networking and security technologies, including routing and switching, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. - Deep knowledge of industry-leading networking and security technologies, tools, and best practices. - Relevant certifications in networking and security (e.g., Cisco CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, CompTIA Security+) are highly advantageous. - Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve intricate network-related issues. - Excellent communication skills, enabling effective communication of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior team members. - Project management experience is beneficial for managing multiple tasks and projects concurrently. - Critical thinking and strategic mindset, with the ability to align technical networking and security solutions with broader business objectives. - A commitment to staying informed about emerging networking and security technologies and industry trends.
