Principal Solutions Engineer

As a member of Cadence Solutions Organization, you will have the opportunity to work closely with worldwide customers in building Virtual/Hybrid prototypes to enable early software development and system validation. This role entails understanding customer requirements, studying hardware specifications, constructing accurate and high-performance models/platforms, and deploying Cadence solutions for production use. You will gain both breadth and depth of technical knowledge, exposure to the latest hardware and software architectures, and stay updated on model-based systems engineering/hybrid prototyping advancements. By utilizing Cadence Virtual and Hybrid tooling firsthand and comprehending customer expectations, you will provide valuable feedback to product teams for continuous enhancement of tools and technologies. **Key Responsibilities:**

• Understand customer software and system validation requirements to evaluate specific modeling needs. - Develop, optimize, and validate system models using C/C++/SystemC. - Integrate and validate models/platforms into larger hierarchies. - Implement production SW stacks on Virtual/Hybrid platforms. - Assist customers in debugging SW bring-up and system validation issues. - Collaborate in building custom flows between third-party tools and Cadence Virtual/Hybrid tooling. **Qualifications:**
• BE/BTech/ME/MS/MTech in Computer Science/Electrical/Electronics. **Experience and Technical Skills:**
• 8+ years of relevant experience in Virtual/Hybrid Prototyping. - Proficient in C/C++/SystemC and scripting languages. - Strong understanding of computer architecture and embedded SW stacks. - Skills in integrating flows involving debug and simulation tools are desirable. - Excellent debugging skills with the ability to comprehend HW/SW interactions.
