As a Talent Acquisition Team Lead/Assistant Manager Recruiter, your main role involves managing recruitment and staffing with a focus on attracting top talent for both in-house teams and external client placements. Your responsibilities include:
Collaborating with hiring managers to understand workforce needs across clients. - Drafting and posting compelling job descriptions on various platforms. - Managing candidate pipelines through an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure up-to-date records. - Conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, and supporting hiring decisions. - Promoting open roles and referral programs regularly. - Ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. - Maintaining and updating the recruitment database and tracking system. - Sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, and networking. - Staying informed on market trends and recruitment best practices to develop innovative sourcing strategies. - Coordinating with internal stakeholders and clients for invoicing and payment. - Conducting initial screenings and sharing qualified profiles with clients. - Scheduling interviews between candidates and clients. - Leading offer negotiations for shortlisted candidates. - Providing regular updates and reports to clients on recruitment progress and candidate status. - Facilitating the smooth onboarding process for selected candidates, including background verification and documentation. Qualifications required for this role:
Master's in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. - 5+ years of proven experience in recruitment, staffing, or talent acquisition. - Fluency in English and Tamil. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. - Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple open roles simultaneously. - Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. This role offers exposure to full-cycle recruiting and requires a tech-savvy, process-driven individual who is adept at attracting and placing top talent. Engineering hiring experience is an advantage.
