Your primary focus will be on laser, optical, electromechanical components, electromechanical assemblies, motors, power management, controls, and OEM assemblies. Specifically, the focus will be on instruments and equipment in AIG and GSG Divisions. Expect travel up to 20% globally. **Key Responsibilities:**

**Qualifications Required:**
Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
BS with 8+ years experience, or, MS with 6+ years experience in product design and manufacturing
Strong project management skills
Ability to manage vendors, contract manufacturers, and design firms
Value engineering and process development experience
Familiarity with DFA/DFM/DFx principles
Experience in handling suppliers and contract manufacturers
Knowledge of regulatory standards in the medical products industry
Understanding of phase gate development processes
Proficiency in CAD Design software such as SolidWorks or Pro/e
Negotiation skills for cost discussions and should-cost modeling
Ability to work independently under ambiguous demands in a global setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI
This job may involve handling mechanical devices supervised by third-party agencies like FDA, NSF, CSA, UL, ISO 13485 standard. Experience with PCR, Protein and Cell Analysis, and Sample Preparation instruments is a plus.
